KARIMNAGAR, MARCH 04, 2025: Arvintree High School, Vasudeva Colony, Karimnagar, organised its annual day function titled “Enthusiaa-25’ amid grandeur and enthusiasm on Tuesday evening.
The celebration commenced with the lamp lighting ceremony, followed by a rendering of a prayer song. Mahatma Jyothibha Phule Telangana BC Welfare residential schools joint secretary GV Shyam Prasad Lal was the chief guest, and school chairman B Ramana Rao and director B Vijayalaxmi participated in the programme.
The stage was set on fire with various dance and music performances, showing the diversity of India. It showcased the incredible talent of students from tiny tots to the high school sections. Students mesmerised the audience with an array of captivating performances. The special attraction of the event was a ballet on the epic Srinivasa Kalyanam performed for about 22 minutes and won accolades from the audience.
The prizes were also distributed to the academic toppers and the students who excelled in extra-curricular activities. They were presented with mementoes and cash prizes. Similarly, eighth class student K Sreedeetya Sloka has won the prize for her outstanding performance and emerged as the topper in IIT-NEET and academics. Her father, K M Dayashankar, received the prize on her behalf as she is on leave to attend some functions in Hyderabad.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Shyam Prasad Lal expressed concern over degrading values in the society with the excessive of social media. Emphasising on developing and inculcating the values among the children frm the beginning, he said that the present generation had forgotten to play sports, read books and all they were involved in was technology (mobile phone).
Educating the parents to desist from using mobile phones and spend quality time with their children, Mr Shyam Prasad said that it was the parents albeit mothers, who are encouraging their children to watch mobile phones since their childhood and spoiling their career by forcing them to get addicting to the gadgets.
Expressing similar views, School Chairman B Ramana Rao said that they would soon conduct an interactive session to educate the parents about their role for the transformation of the children and emerging as a role model to transform the future generation. About the cultural programmes, he said: “We are proud of our teachers and students’ exceptional talents and dedication. The Annual Day celebration showcases our school’s commitment to nurturing creative and confident individuals. For this, we would like to sincerely thank the parents for their cooperation”.
