TIRUPATI/DEVUNI KADAPA, AUGUST 23, 2026: The Ankuraarpanam for the renovation and Ashtabandhana Maha Samprokshanam of Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Swamy Temple at Devuni Kadapa was performed as per Agama traditions on Sunday evening.
The rituals included Vastu Shanti, Mrutsangrahanam, Kumbharadhana and Ankuraarpanam, amidst Vedic chants.
On August 24, Vedic rituals including Shanti Homam, Kumbhasthapana and Panchagni Pranayanam will be performed.
On August 25, rituals including Ekashiti Kalasa Snapana, Murti Homam and Ashtabandhanam will be conducted, followed by Shayadhivasam and Shanti Homam in the evening.

On August 26, after the morning rituals, Maha Poornahuti and Maha Samprokshanam will be performed from 9.45 am to 11.30 am under Shravana Nakshatram and Tula Lagnam.
Devotees will be allowed darshan of Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Swamy after completion of the Maha Samprokshanam.
Deputy EO Smt. A. Prashanthi, AEO Sri Ravi, Superintendent Sri Hanumanthaiah, Temple Inspector Sri Eswar Reddy and temple priests participated in the programme.
