
KARIMNAGAR, OCTOBER 15, 2024: In a fillip to his electioneering, former Mayor and BRS leader Ravinder Singh received Rs 10,116 donation from a lawyer Sunke Devakishan to meet his election expenses during his campaigning in Karimnagar town on Tuesday.
Mr Ravinder Singh campaigned in the Karimnagar Bar Association in Karimnagar town on Tuesday. On this occasion, an advocate Sunke Devakishan sprang a surprise by handing over a cash of Rs 10,116 to meet the election expenses of Mr Singh, who is planning to contest from the Karimnagar Graduates Constituency in the ensuing Legislative Council elections.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Ravinder Singh reminded that he had launched his political career from the Karimnagar Bar Association as its president and now he had decided to contest the MLC elections from the Karimnagar Graduates constituency with the support of Karimnagar Bar Association members.
Appealing to all the graduates, who have completed their graduation before 2021, to enrol as voters, he said that he informed them to enrol as voters online or by approaching his office for enrolment with a degree provisional certificate, Aadhar card, voters ID, passport size photograph etc.
Assuring to raise the issues pertaining to the graduates pertaining to Karimnagar, Adilabad, Nizamabad and Medak districts, he promised to ensure health insurance coverage at a cost of Re 1 for every graduate of his constituency. He also collected that he had launched Re 1 a tap connection and Re 1 last rites of a deceased person during his tenure as Karimnagar Mayor.
He thanked Sunke Devakishan for his noble gesture to support his candidature in the elections and for providing financial assistance for his electioneering expenses. Karimnagar Bar Association president Polu Rajkumar, former general secretary Nagaraju, advocates Anil, T Murali, P Ramulu, Vikram, S Vinay, M Muninder, K Vamshi, BRS leader G Hariprasad and others were also present.
