KARIMNAGAR, NOVEMBER 14, 2024: Advita International School, Bhagathnagar, Karimnagar, celebrated a fun-filled Children’s Day for students with lots of enthusiasm and vigour to commemorate the birth anniversary of the first Prime Minister of India Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru on the school campus on Thursday.
A special assembly with various activities such as songs, play and quizzes was organised for the students. The students came to school dressed in civil costumes as part of the celebrations. Some of the students dressed up as Nehru by wearing a rose flower on their coats.
The highlight of the day was the presentation of cultural programmes by the teachers to entertain the children. The teachers captivated the students amid cheers with their scintillating performances of rhymes and popular numbers and small skits.
School Managing Director Anudeep Sowgani enlightened the students about the contribution of Pandit Nehru and his love and affection towards children as the budding blocks of the nation. He also encouraged the students to render their roles as responsible youth of society. School principal Swetha, teaching faculty and others were also present.
