KARIMNAGAR, JULY 23, 2014: Students of Achievers Active High School, Kothirampur, Karimnagar town, have excelled at the first international martial arts karate tournament conducted at Kotla Vijaybhaskar Reddy indoor stadium in Hyderabad by winning securing medals in various events.
Seventh class student B Aaradhya secured gold and silver medal in Kata and weapon category, M. Teja (seventh class) secured two silver medals in Kata and Weapon category, B. Subhash (eight class) secured two silver medals in Kata and Kumiti categories, E Ashwant Gold (sixth class) secured Bronze Medals in Kata and Kumitil, B. Revanth Kumar (eight class) secured Gold Medal in Kata, K. Charan Tej (ninth class) won silver and bronze medals in kata and weapon, Ayan (third class) won two silver medals in kata and kumite, Supratik (fourth class) won gold and bronze medals from in kata and kumite.
On this occasion, school director Ch Venkateshwarlu and Principal Ch Pallavi congratulated and felicitated the students. Gojuryu Karate Du Association State President Surabhi Venugopal, Karate Instructor Vinesh, school staff, students and parents participated and made the event a success.
