JITS signs MoU with Louisiana Tech University, USA, for higher education of students
KARIMNAGAR, MARCH 30, 2024: Jyothishmathi Institute of Technology and Sciences (autonomous) on the outskirts of Karimnagar town celebrated its annual day celebrations called ‘Utsav 2024’ on its sprawling campus with much pomp and gaiety on the outskirts of Karimnagar town on Saturday evening.
The dignitaries present were former Director of DMRL, Defense Research and Development Organisation Dr G Madhusudhan Reddy and NIT Professor Prof RBV Subramanyam. JITS chairman J Sagar Rao, secretary J Sumith Sai, Principal KS Rao, Deans K Vaishali and P Sampath Rao and others were also present. They also presented the prizes including cash prizes and mementoes to the students who excelled in academics, project expo, paper presentation and sports activities.
The cultural programme based on Navras and the celebration of completion of 25 glorious years of academic excellence, comprising welcome dance, western and classical which filled the environment with rhythm, hues, and vibrancy. The Principal, KS Rao, shared the school’s achievements through the annual report of the past session. He also educated the students about signing of MoU with Louisiana Tech University, USA, to help the students pursue higher education in USA and faculty exchange programmes etc.
