KARIMNAGAR, NOVEMBER 21, 2024: After completing their basic training for nine months, 248 Stipendary Cadet Trainee Police Constables (2024 batch) Armed Reserve of Rachakonda Commissionerate, successfully passed out from the City Training Centre, Karimnagar, on Thursday.
During their nine-month training, they were trained to use weapons and explosives and taught laws. The chief guest, Director-General of Drugs Control Administration (DCA) Telangana VB Kamalasan Reddy, saluted the new recruits and exhorted them to uphold principles of justice.
He asked them to treat citizens with empathy and compassion, as the police are the face of law and order in society. “Joining the police force is not just a profession, but a call to serve people with honesty, courage and compassion. The path you choose requires sacrifice and dedication as people have high expectations of you,” he added.
Highlighting the challenges in their future, Mr Kamalasan Reddy said every day they would face challenges which would test their character. “Your good work and courageous decisions will strengthen the trust of the public in the Telangana Police,” he said, appealing to them to maintain principles of justice, impartiality and human dignity following the oath of induction. Among these 248 constables, two were M Tech holders, several MBA graduates and B Tech graduates.
Commissioner of Police Abhishek Mohanty praised Principal CTC, Karimnagar and Additional DCP (L&O) A Laxminarayana other officers and staff for imparting good training. He informed the constables to update their knowledge in laws as learning is a continuous process. CTC Principal Laxminarayana welcomed the guests.
