TIRUMALA, MAY 18, 2024: With the weekend, heavy pilgrims rush is being witnessed at hill temple of Lord Venkateshwara Swamy at Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) on Saturday.
The queue lines have stretched to over 3 kilometers outside Shila Thoranam and the devotees without any SSD tokens were taking anywhere between 24 hours to 30 hours for darshan of the presiding deity.
The compartments in Vaikuntam queue complexes and sheds in Narayanagiri gardens were full to the brim. On Friday, over 71,510 devotees had darshan and many more waiting in lines outside queue complex and on the outer ring road.
The TTD authorities said that the Tirumala is heavily crowded with devotees. They advised the devotees to come to the temple shrine with proper plan for easy darshan of Lord Venkateshwara Swamy. On Friday, the TTD earned 3.63 crore through hundi collections. The TTD authorities are making all arrangements to provide uninterrupted supply of drinking water and food to the devotees waiting in queue lines.
