

KARIMNAGAR, MARCH 29, 2025: Vivekananda Residential School (CBSE) in Karimnagar town organized a vibrant special assembly on Saturday to commemorate Ugadi, Ramadan, and the School’s Foundation Day. Students of grades 6 and 7 presented a series of performances that highlighted the cultural significance of these occasions.

The programme began with a soulful prayer, followed by a message on the importance of Ugadi, marking the Telugu New Year, and Ramadan, a month of spiritual reflection and fasting. Through their performances, students shared message of renewal, gratitude, and harmony associated with these festivals.
Adding to the festive spirit, an energetic dance performance depicting the joy of Ugadi celebrations enthralled the audience. A special presentation on the evolution of Vivekananda Residential School over the years honoured its legacy on its Foundation Day.
Principal Renuka Balivada appreciated the efforts of students and teachers in organizing a meaningful event that reflected the school’s commitment to cultural harmony and holistic education. Advisor to the Managing Committee, Gandra Laxman Rao, commended the students for their enthusiastic participation and encouraged them to uphold the values of unity and respect. The event concluded on a joyous note, leaving everyone with a deep sense of cultural pride and unity.
Chairman Dr. Sudhakar Rao Polasani and Director (Academics) Dr. T. Lalitha Kumari extended their festive greetings, wishing everyone a prosperous Ugadi and a blessed Ramadan and emphasized the school’s commitment to embracing traditions while striving for academic and personal excellence.
