RAJANNA-SIRCILLA, OCTOBER 14, 2024: Minister for Endowments and Forests Konda Surekha has said that the state government was taking all measures for the development of Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy devasthanam on the lines of Yadadri.
The Minister visited the temple shrine along with her family members for the tonsuring of the head of her grandson on Monday. After offering prayers at Vemulawada temple shrine and Baddi Pochamma temple and offering bonam, she spoke to newsmen.
Speaking on the occasion, Mrs Surekha said that Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has accorded top priority for the development of Vemulawada temple shrine, which is highest income generation shrine in the Telangana state. She said that the CM would soon convene a high level meeting for the development of the Vemulawada temple shrine as per the traditions.
Stating that they would provide all amenities for the devotees visiting the temple shrine, she said that they would take up gold plating of gopuram of the Vemulawada temple shrine with 65 kgs of gold. She said that the Yadadri temple gold plating works were taken up with 63 kgs of gold. She said that the silver idols and processions would be also made.
Government Whip Adi Srinivas, temple EO Vinod Reddy, Vemulawada Municipal Vice Chairman Mahesh, RDO Rajeshwar and others were also present.
