Vasanth Panchami celebrated with religious fervour at Bhagavathi and Arvintree Schools

KARIMNAGAR, FEBRUARY 14, 2024: Vasantha panchami, the festival dedicated to Goddess Saraswati, and arrival of spring season, was celebrated with religious fervour and enthusiasm by the students of Bhagavathi and Arvintree High schools separately in various parts of Karimnagar town on Wednesday.

The students and teachers worshipped Goddess Saraswati, the divine form of wisdom, music and arts. On the occasion, a special vedic homam was performed at Bhagavathi High school campus at Bhagathnagar locality to invoke the blessings of Goddess Saraswati. School chairman B Ramana Rao and Correspondent B Vijaya Lakshmi participated in homam puja rituals.  All the students participated in the homam rituals. They were also explained the significance of the day.

At Arvintree high school campus at Vasudeva colony, the special prayers were offered to Goddess Saraswati. Chairman B Ramana Rao motivated students to become progressive learners and seek blessings of the Goddess. He also said all prayed for the betterment of society and getting rid of worldly pains through true wisdom.

On this occasion, several parents participated in Aksharabhyasam of their children, which is the first step for babies to learn to write letters and seek blessings of Goddess Saraswati.
