

KARIMNAGAR, MARCH 29, 2025: Ugadi, the Telugu New Year festival, was celebrated with great enthusiasm and happiness on the premises of Manair Educational institutions in Karimnagar town on Saturday.

The teachers and staff came together to welcome the Telugu New Year Sri Viswaavasu Nama Samvatsaram, with traditional rituals, cultural performances, and festive activities. Manair Educational Institutions chairman K Anantha Reddy launched the celebrations by offering prayers and breaking the coconuts. He also distributed Ugadi Pachadi to the students.
The teachers educated the medicinal values in the Ugadi pachadi with raw mango, tamarind, jaggery, new flowers, coconut, salt, chilli and other ingredients. The rich cultural heritage of Telugu traditions was depicted simply and engagingly. Children were excited to showcase their talents and sang melodious songs of the Ugadi festival and danced to the tunes of traditional songs. Overall, the programme was a success, instilling the values, traditions, culture and unity in the young minds. School Director K Sunitha Reddy, teachers and others were also present.
