In this regard, a virtual meeting by TTD EO Sri J Syamala Rao along with the Additional EO Sri Ch Venkaiah Chowdary and other officials was held on Tuesday evening which discussed in length on the arrangements to be made on June 06 at the counters which are erected separately to issue Srivari Mettu DD tokens exclusively to the pilgrims.

Some Excerpts from the meeting:

The Srivari Mettu DD tokens will be issued simultaneously along with the Tirupati SSD tokens a day before for Darshan on next day in the exclusive counters earmarked for them.

The devotees who procured the Srivari Mettu DD tokens with their Adhaar Cards on first come first basis as per the availability of the tokens quota shall have to scan the token at 1200th step along Srivari Mettu.

TTD Vigilance and Security in coordination with the district Police have to ensure security measures to avoid any untoward incident

A team of officers will be deputed to vigil the issuance of tokens in a smooth manner at the Bhudevi Complex. They should carry out continuous inspections and ensure a hassle-free atmosphere near the token counters

A wide Publicity on the temporary shifting of the Srivari Mettu DD token counters to Bhudevi Complex needed Engineering, Annaprasadam, Health (Sanitation) departments to make necessary arrangements in the larger interests of the devotees and properly utilize the services of Srivari Seva volunteers.
