
HYDERABAD, MARCH 07, 2025: The Telangana Postal Circle marked International Women’s Day 2025 with a grand celebration at Dak Sadan, led by the Telangana State Postal Women Welfare Organization. The event was organized to honour the invaluable contributions of women employees and reaffirm the department’s commitment to gender equality, diversity and inclusion in the workforce.

The programme commenced with an inspiring keynote address by G. Hema Radhika, Circle Secretary of the Telangana State Postal Women Welfare Organization (TSPWWO). This was followed by speeches from various women employees of the Department, who shared their experiences and insights. Male employees also took the opportunity to extend their best wishes on International Women’s Day, appreciating the dedication and contributions of their female colleagues while also acknowledging the significant role of women in their personal lives.
- Sai Pallavi, Director of Accounts Postal, emphasized the importance of the year’s theme, Accelerate Action, highlighting the need for women to take the initiative in all spheres.
- P Anasuya Reddy, Ex-Officio President of TSPWWO also extended her best wishes to all the women employees and emphasized the theme of International Womens Day 2025 and also extolled how women are maintaining the house-work balance.
- V.S. Reddy, Chief Postmaster General, lauded the increasing presence of women in all cadres of the Department and commended their exemplary services and noteworthy contributions.
To add a festive touch, various engaging activities were conducted as part of the celebrations, and prizes were distributed to the winners, making the event a memorable one for all participants.
