HYDERABAD, MARCH 06, 2024: The Telangana State Government has issued orders allowing the Muslim government employees and teachers including outsourcing staff working in the state to leave their offices and schools during the fasting month of Ramzam.
In a circular on Wednesday, Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari stated that “Government hereby permits all the Muslim Government Service/Contract/ Out-sourcing/Boards/Public Sector employees/Schools working in the State to leave their Offices/ Schools at 4.00 p.m. during the Holy Month of “RAMZAN” i.e., from 12.03.2024 to 11.04.2024 (both days inclusive) to offer necessary prayers, except when their presence is required due to exigencies of services during the above period”.
Telangana State Miniority Employees service Association [TS MESA] State Secretary Mohammed Fayyaz Ali thanked the state government for allowing the Muslim employees to leave early for the Ramzan prayers during the Holy month.
