Dwadasi Chakra snanam held at Tirumala
Among the several thousand Theerthams, Swamy Pushkarini is considered the most auspicious one as it is believed to be the chief source of all the 66 crore and odd theerthams in the Seshachala Ranges.
Sri Sudarshana Chakrattalwar was brought to the sacred temple tank during the early hours on Saturday and Chakra Snanam was performed by the Archakas in the holy waters of Swamy Pushkarini in the presence of HH Tirumala Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swami on the occasion. Later the Chakrattalwar returned to the temple.
TTD EO Syamala Rao, Board Member Panabaka Lakshmi, DyEO Lokanatham, Peishkar Rama Krishna and others were also present.
