
TIRUPATI, JUNE 08, 2025: The annual Teppotsavam of Sri Padmavathi Ammavaru at Tiruchanur commenced ceremoniously on Saturday. On the first day, Sri Krishnaswamy, accompanied by Sri Rukmini and Sri Satyabhama, blessed devotees while taking three rounds on the finely decorated float in the sacred Padmasarovaram.
As part of the festivities, the day began with Suprabhata Seva, followed by Sahasranamarchana and Nityaarchana to the processional deity of Sri Padmavati Devi. From 3 PM to 4.30 PM, a special Abhishekam was performed to Sri Krishnaswamy in the Mukha Mandapam, using milk, curd, honey, sandal paste, and other aromatic substances.

At 6.30 PM, the Utsava deities were brought to the Sacred Padma Pushkarini. The Teppotsavam was held from 6.30 PM to 7.15 PM in a devotional manner. Temple Deputy EO Sri Harindranath, Superintendent Sri Ramesh, other officials, priests, and a large number of devotees were also present.
