KARIMNAGAR, JUNE 11, 2024: The 14th anniversary of Sri Maha Shakthi temple in Chaitanyapuri colony in Karimnagar got off to a religious start on Tuesday morning with Sri Jagadguru Shankaracharya Hampi Virupaksha Vidyaranya Swamy conducting special rituals and homams to the presiding deities goddesses Maha Durga, Maha Lakshmi and Maha Saraswathi and others.
The temple was constructed by Union Minister and Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay and it was inaugurated on June 17, 2010 when he was a municipal corporator. As part of the chathurdashi (14th year) celebrations, the special puja rituals conducted from morning 4.30 am onwards on Tuesday. The Jagadguru Vidyaranya Swamy conducted panchamutra abhishekam to all the deities of the temple shrine. The Ganapthi puja, akanda deeparadhana, Lakshmi Ganapathi homam, Rudra sahitha Chandi homam, purnaahuti. Later in the evening at 7 pm, there would be mass ‘kum kum’ puja, Lalitha sahasranama parayanam, Hanuman chalesa and other puja rituals.
