TIRUPATI, MAY 27, 2026: On the fifth day of the annual Brahmotsavams at Sri Govindaraja Swamy Temple, Lord Govindaraja Swamy appeared in the enchanting Mohini Avatar on a palanquin on Wednesday morning and blessed devotees.
The procession moved amid devotional fervour with traditional folk performances, Kolatam, and Mangala Vadyams. Devotees offered Harathi at every step and chanted Govinda Namam throughout the Mada streets.

The Mohini Avatar signifies Lord Maha Vishnu protecting Dharma by distributing Amritam to the Devas during the Ksheera Sagara Madhanam. Through this divine form, the Lord conveyed the message of righteousness and universal welfare.

Snapana Thirumanjanam was performed grandly to the deities from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. with milk, curd, honey, sandal paste, and coconut water, followed by special rituals.
Among those present were Pedda Jeeyar Swamy, Chinna Jeeyar Swamy, TTD Deputy EO Smt. V.R. Shanthi, AEO Sri A.B. Narayana Chowdary, AVSO Sri R. Srinivasa Rao, temple officials, Srivari Sevaks, and a large number of devotees.
