KAZIPET, JANUARY 12, 2025: The South Central Railway Employees Sangh, Kazipet unit, celebrated the National Youth Day to commemorate the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda by garlanding his portrait at its office in Kazipet, Warangal, on Sunday.
The Celebrations were conducted under the aegis of Branch Youth wing secretary Jala Mahesh. Sangh zonal yough wing secretary Paka Raj Kumar and Loco running branch chairman K Ravi participated as chief guests.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief guests called upon the youth of India to emulate and adopt the ideals and philosophy of Swami Vivekananda. They hailed Vivekananda as attuned to the absolute and a divine scholar who brought laurels to the rich cultural heritage of India at the Chicago World Religion Parliament.
They also observed that since there is a vast change in the present milieu, many Vivekanandas are required to face contemporary challenges in all spheres. Loco shed chairman Madhava Rao, S&T treasurer Yakub Pasha, Gupta, Varaoprasad Reddy, Paramesham, Krishna Chary, Santosh Babu, Suresh, Praveen, Kishore, Ravi, Shekhar and others were also present.
