

Manakondur legislator Dr K Satyanarayana flags off the run


KARIMNAGAR, APRIL 19, 2025: The “Run for Jesus” is a Christian evangelical and ecumenical event, often held on Holy Saturday, that aims to celebrate the faith and spread the message of Jesus Christ’s death and resurrection (Good Friday and Easter Sunday).

Accordingly, the Christians of Karimnagar town, in association with Aradhana TV channel, conducted ‘Run for Jesus’ for universal peace. Manakondur legislator Dr Kavvampalli Satyanarayana had formally flagged off the run at Court crossroads in Karimnagar town on Saturday. The rally passed through all the important thoroughfares of the town and converged at the CSI main church.
On this occasion, Coordinator Timothi Jayaraj said that they had been conducting the ‘Run for Jesus’ every year, which refers to a celebration of faith, with some including Good Friday processions and special services. The Run for Jesus is a movement that emphasises faith, unity, and hope, encouraging participants to “run with the spirit” and “finish with faith, he maintained. Local pastors S John Paul Kamal, Pintu Reddymalla Prasad, Prashanth, Suresh, Gidi Yesu, Elisa, Paul, David Raj, Chandramohan, Krishna Sagar, G. Krupadanam and others were also present.
