Spotting of leopard on ghat road
TIRUMALA, AUGUST 12, 2024: In the wake of spotting of leopard on the ghat road, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam has taken a decision to allow the movement of two-wheelers on both the ghat roads from 6 am to 9 pm only from Monday (August 12, 2024) to September 30,2024.
According to TTD forest officials, the months of August and September happens to be the peak breading season for wild animals. As such the wild beasts are often seen crossing the roads along the first ghat road. The decision was taken in view of the safety of the devotees. The TTD had also requested to make note of this change and cooperate with the officials.
