
KARIMNAGAR, SEPTEMBER 08, 2026: Karimnagar Mayor Kolagani Srinivas has released a wall poster titled “Our Ganesha – Clay Ganesha’ to promote eco-friendly Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations designed by Karimnagar town-based HUM Voluntary Organisation.
On this occasion, the Mayor appreciated the initiative taken by HUM Voluntary Organisation and appealed to the people to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi in an environmentally responsible manner by preferring clay idols. He said that using clay idols helps protect water bodies and contributes to environmental conservation. He encouraged the public to preserve our traditions while also taking responsibility for protecting nature.
HUM Founder Sagar Dhanapuri said that the “Mana Ganapathi – Matti Ganapathi” campaign aims to create awareness among the public about the importance of choosing eco-friendly Ganesha idols. He appealed to everyone to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi with devotion and environmental consciousness.
