KARIMNAGAR, AUGUST 24, 2024: The spirit of Janmashtami, the joyous celebration of Lord Krishna’s birth, came alive at Sadhana School of Excellence, Jyothinagar, Karimnagar, as the tiny tots came dressed up as Krishna, Radha, Gopika and Sudama and engaged in a variety of cultural activities on Saturday.
The school campus was adorned with vibrant decorations, depicting the life and times of Lord Krishna. To the delight of the audience, the children performed a mesmerising dance to the tune of popular Krishna bhajans. The rhythmic movements and colourful costumes left everyone spellbound. One of the most exciting moments of the day was to break a “dahi handi.”
School chairman Ch Srinivas, high school principal Kumara Swamy, primary school principal Dhanalakshmi and others formally inaugurated the celebrations by lighting the lamp and offering prayers to Lord Sri Krshna
The celebrations featured a captivating cultural programme performed by the pre-primary grade students, portraying the profound bond between Lord Krishna and his mother Yashoda along with his cherished friendship with Sudama. The life story of Lord Krishna was masterfully portrayed through scintillating dance performances. The chairman congratulated the teaching faculty members and the principals and also the parents for making the event a grand success.
