
KARIMNAGAR, JULY 28, 2024: Minister for IT and Industries Duddilla Sridhar Babu paid floral tributes to leading industrialist and philanthropist Kesarimal Karwa on the occasion of his 92nd birth anniversary celebrations at Gaushala in Odyaram village in Gangadhara mandal of Karimnagar district on Sunday.
On this occasion, Mr Sridhar Babu recollecting the association of his father D Sripada Rao and former Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao and other senior Congress party leaders including former MPs J Chokka Rao, M Satyanarayana Rao and others. He reminded that Mr Kesarimal Karwa was always optimistic in helping society and guiding the budding businessmen.

Though, the birth anniversary of Mr Kesarimal Karwa was celebrated on July 19, his family members and sons Bhagawandas Karwa and Venugopal Karwa and his grandchildren have decided to conduct Sundarakan paath and Shyam Sandhya at their Goushala and memorial of Kesarimal Karwa in Odyaram village. Eminent guruji Bhaishri Rameshbhai Oza and his disciples participated in the programme and enthralled gathering.
The Sunderkand Path holds a place of great reverence within Hinduism, often performed with deep devotion and faith. It is believed to bring about positive energy, remove obstacles, and bestow spiritual insight. The recitation of Sunderkand is considered a powerful tool for achieving peace and prosperity.
The devotional songs played by the guruji Bhaishri Rameshbhai Oza had made the audience go frenzy and danced to the devotional songs in a trance of Lord Rama and Sri Krishna. Other prominent leaders who paid tributes to Mr Karwa include Karimnagar Congress parliament constituency incharge Velichala Rajender and others including businessmen, Marwadi community of Karimnagar town and others.
It may be recalled that Mr Kesarimal Karwa had won accolades from all sections of society for his philanthropic activities and charity for the society. He was in the forefront to crusade against corruption through Lok Satta udyama samastha, protection of consumers rights through Karimnagar Consumers Council, as a whistle-blower by supporting the RTI activists and others. He is known for his charity of providing the monthly groceries to the old-age homes and orphanages on the first of every month. He supported the bright and intellectual students by providing all assistance for their higher education.
