HYDERABAD, JULY 11, 2024: The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) Centre Miyapur, Hyderabad has decided to organise annual Jagannatha Rath Yatra on July 13 on a grand scale.
Disclosing this to newsmen at Press club in Hyderabad on Thursday, ISKCON Miyapur temple president Ramdas Prabhuji said that the vibrant and cherished tradition would begin from RS Brothers, Chandanagar at 2 pm on Saturday and the Rath yatra would proceed through the main streets of Madinaguda, Allwyn cross roads, Miyapur cross roads, JP nagar and concluded at Vishwanath gardens.
Later, the procession would begin from Vishwanath gardens at 6 pm and conclude at 10 pm. Several thousands of devotees and spectators from 10 countries would be participating in the yatra. Elaborate arrangements were being made for the supply of drinking water, pulihora praasadam all along the procession for the devotees. There would be cultural programmes and speeches by eminent personalities. He called upon the devotees to participate in the procession in large numbers. ISKCON Prabhujis Anand Gopinath, Madur Shyam, members Goparaju Srinivas and Devishetty Srinivas were also present.
