Daram Susheela Charitable Trust donates cement benches for the benefit of devotees participating in the circumambulation of the hill shrine
JAGTIAL, APRIL 12, 2025: The Giri Pradakshina (Circumambulation of a hill) was recently launched at the historic and ancient Sri Anjaneya Swamy devasthanam in Kondagattu of Jagtial district. The Giri Pradakshina would be conducted on every month’s full moon day.
Accordingly, the Giri pradakshina was conducted by the devotees on Saturday, which is a full moon day and also Chinna Hanuman Jayanthi celebrations. Following the request by the devotees, Senior Physician of Karimnagar, Dr D Raghu Raman, has donated cement benches in memory of his father, Dr Daram Nagabhushanam and mother D Susheela Devi, through Daram Susheela Charitable Trust.
The cement benches were set up all around the 5.5-kilometre giri pradakshina route around the temple shrine. The erection of cement benches had brought much sought-after relief to the devotees participating in the Giri Pradakshina to take some rest and continue their walk around the hill shrine.
