TTD urges devotees to make bookings only through official channels
TIRUMALA, AUGUST 14, 2026: TTD has once again cautioned its devotees to remain vigilant against frauds being perpetrated through fake websites, WhatsApp accounts and social media pages in the name of Srivari Darshan, Arjitha Sevas and accommodation bookings at Tirumala.
Some fraudsters are operating fake websites, WhatsApp accounts and social media pages using the name of TTD and are attracting devotees by offering to arrange Srivari Darshan, Arjitha Sevas, accommodation and other bookings, and collecting money from them. TTD has received several complaints in this regard.
Earlier also TTD has cautioned the devotees many a number of times not to fall prey to such fraudulent messages or websites.
In view of the repeated complaints on fake websites, the devotees are once again requested to make bookings related to Darshan, Sevas and accommodation only through the official TTD website or official TTD mobile app.
Devotees should exercise caution with unauthorised booking links received through WhatsApp, social media or other platforms.
TTD has put in place special surveillance in coordination with its IT and Vigilance wings, Cyber Crime Police and other concerned departments to take action against those operating fake websites and social media accounts using the TTD name, logo, images and trademarks.
Measures are being taken to identify and remove such fake digital platforms, get them blocked and initiate investigations.
During the last two years, 259 fake websites have been identified and removed, and cases have been registered against several persons associated with these websites.
Appropriate legal action will be initiated under copyright, trademark and cyber laws against individuals and organisations misusing the TTD name, logo and intellectual property.
Advisory to devotees :
* Make bookings for TTD services, Darshan and accommodation only through the official TTD website/mobile app.
* Do not trust unauthorised booking messages or links received through WhatsApp.
* Do not fall prey to fake websites or social media pages operating in the name of TTD.
* Do not transfer money to unknown persons in the name of bookings.
* Before responding to any website or social media account using the TTD name or logo, verify whether it is an official platform.
TTD has reiterated that devotees should remain alert and follow necessary precautions to avoid falling victim to cyber frauds carried out through fake websites and WhatsApp messages.
