WANAPARTHY, OCTOBER 30, 2024: Prohibition and Excise Commissioner E Sridhar has suspended Wanaparthy Excise Superintendent K Prabhu Vinay Kumar for dereliction of his duties and resorting to several irregularities in the district.
According to sources, BC Political JAC Chairman Rachala Yugander Goud has lodged a complaint with the Wanaparthy Collector and Excise Commissioner about the alleged irregularities of the Wanaparthy Excise Superintendent K Prabhu Vinay Kumar. After an inquiry, the Excise Commissioner has ordered the suspension of the Excise Suspension on Wednesday.
It is alleged that the Excise Superintendent has not visited the office for the past four months and he was collecting the salary by remaining at his house. He was securing all the files including attendance register to his house and signing. Besides, he had also tampered with the date of birth in the service register to extend his service illegally and resorted to irregularities in the seniority list, the sources said.
On this occasion, the BC JAC leader Rachala Yugender Goud had thanked the government for taking prompt action against the district Excise superintendent and negligent of duties and resorting to several irregularities.
