KARIMNAGAR, JUNE 04, 2026: Setting an example of nobility and going beyond the call of duty, a city-based traffic cop has been filling potholes on roads in his bid to avoid mishaps in Karimnagar town
Traffic RSI S Srikanth and his team had noticed potholes in various parts of Karimnagar town, and he had decided to fill them on his own. His sole motive behind it is to ensure the safety of commuters on city roads.
Commissioner of Police Gaush Alam had appreciated the Traffic RSI and his team for their noble work in clearing traffic snarls by filling potholes and ensuring the safety of vehicle users.
Similarly, it is time for the Traffic police to focus on the auto-rickshaws, which have become a menace in Karimnagar town. The auto-wallahs flout all norms with overloading of passengers and illegal auto-stands without permission from any authorities concerned in Karimnagar town. Targeting two-wheelers alone is not correct, and they should also focus which are causing major traffic snarls with illegal auto stands and terrorising the road users with their unscientific stopping on the roads and causing nuisance in the town.
