
JAGTIAL, JUNE 04, 2026: Sleuths of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) have trapped the Kodimial Forest Range Officer (FRO) for demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 80,000 for doing an official favour on Thursday.
Sources said that FRO Mohinuddin had demanded Rs 80,000 as a bribe for the clearance of a file about a timber depot. The victim had approached the ACB, which waylaid and trapped the FRO while accepting the bribe amount in his office, and conducted the chemical tests.
Later, the ACB officials visited the Jagtial DFO office and interrogated DFO Ravi Kumar. The reasons for the interrogation of the DFO were not known yet. ACB raid was conducted under the supervision of Karimnagar range DSP Vijay Kumar, Inspector Ponnam Chander and others.
