Police to act tough on ragging: Ramagundam CP

PEDDAPALLI, FEB 15, 2024: Ramagundam Commissioner of Police M Srinivasulu has said that they would act tough against the ragging in any educational institutions in the Commissionerate limits.

M Srinivasulu took charge as new Ramagundam Police Commissioner on Wednesday. In a brief chat with newsmen, he said that they would not tolerate the incidence of ragging in the region. He said that they would ensure that the anti-ragging committees are constituted in all educational institutions.

In the wake of incident of a ragging in government medical college in Ramagundam, the CP had decided to convene an awareness meeting in the medical college on Thursday evening.

Assuring to ensure law and order, he said that they would allow the movement and consumption of narcotics such as drugs and ganja in the commissionerate limits. He also informed the rowdy-sheeters and trouble mongers to mend their ways.
