KARIMNAGAR, JUNE 17, 2025: Sleuths of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) have trapped Zilla Parishad Assistant Engineer and senior Assistant for demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 8,000 for doing an official favour in Karimnagar town on Tuesday evening.
Sources said that Assistant Engineer Sharath and senior assistant Venugopal demanded a bribe from a hired vehicle owner for the clearance of pending bills for six months. Following a complaint lodged by victim, the ACB trapped the officials red-handed and produced them before the ACB court in Karimnagar town.
