NIRMAL, NOVEMBER 13, 2024: Sleuths of Anti-Corruption Bureau have trapped a Nirmal Municipal Office Junior Assistant and incharge Revenue Inspector for demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 15,000 for doing official favour on Wednesday.
Sources said that accused MA Shakeer Khan demanded Rs 15,000 from a complainant for obtaining regularization orders from Regional Director, Municipal Adminstration Warangal. The AB recovered the bribe amount and the fingers of the accused yielded positive in chemical test.
The ACB officials arrested Shakeer Khan and would be produced before ACB special court in Karimnagar town.
