BERLIN, AUGUST 26, 2024: The Telangana Association of Germany (TAG) has organised the traditional ‘Vana bhojanam’, the community lunch and day-long picnic, on the occasion month of Shravana masam, at historical Volkspark in Berlin on Sunday.
TAG President Dr Raghu Chaliganti said that it was heartwarming to see so many families come together, spend quality time and connect with each other. “This event has become a cherished tradition for us, providing an opportunity every summer to welcome new families who have recently migrated and to strengthen our community bonds”, he stated.
Dr Raghu also thanked TAG secretaries, Sharath, Alekey, and Naresh, for their impeccable organization of this event. He also added a big thank you to all the volunteers who generously contributed their time and effort to make this event a success.
The Telangana families in Germany participated in the ‘Vana bhojanam’ with lots of merriment and revelry. They spread a blanket under a tree, indulged in banter and savoured the fun. Each family prepared special dishes and served among themselves and enjoyed the day. They also participated in lots of fun games.
