St George International School hosts 52nd District Science Fair and celebrates creativity and innovation

Collector Pamela Satpathy inaugurates the Science Fair,  visits various exhibits and interacts with the students

KARIMNAGAR, NOVEMBER 30, 2024: Collector Pamela Satpathy has formally inaugurated a three-day 52nd District level Children’s Science Exhibition at the sprawling St George International School (CBSE), Kothapalli, on the outskirts of Karimnagar town on Saturday.

At the science fair, which featured many impressive projects, 624 exhibits, including 147 models of the 12th INSPIRE awards MANAK 2023-24, were on display. Students from various government and private schools participated enthusiastically and confidently explained their models. The students presented different types of working models related to other branches of Science and Maths subjects.

Speaking on the occasion, the Collector said that the students adopt the questioning mentality from the school days to learn several new things and ideas. She also informed the teachers to educate the students to ensure that they learn the art of questioning. Stressing on the critical role of innovation and creativity in today’s dynamic world, she highlighted that innovation has become a crucial driver for a nation’s sustainable growth and competitiveness in the face of globalization.
