Narender Reddy says he is confident of securing the Congress party support for this MLC elections
KARIMNAGAR, SEPTEMBER 18, 2024: Alphores Educational Institutions chairman V Narender Reddy has welcomed the New Education Policy and its implementation by the Telangana state government very soon.
The New Education Policy (NEP) mandates compulsory schooling from ages 3 to 18, introducing three years of pre-schooling for children aged 3-6. The curricular structure shifts from 10+2 to 5+3+3+4, emphasising Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE). He stated and added that he would take all measures to address problems raised due to the NEP.
He was speaking at an orientation programme on New Education Policy organised by Telangana Private Junior, Degree and PG colleges association, Karimnagar district unit in Karimnagar town on Wednesday. Mr Narender Reddy, who has announced to contest the Legislative Council elections from the Karimnagar Graduates Constituency, clarified that he had decided to enter politics only to raise the issues pertaining to the graduates, schools and colleges in the Council and serve to the people as a leader.
Reminding his growth from an ordinary tutor roaming from door to door on his bicycle and emerging as a leading educational institution in the Telangana state by setting up Alphores institutions, he said that the Alphores junior colleges have stopped the migration of Telangana students to the Andhra region for Intermediate education to secure ranks in EAMCET and IITs. He said that the Alphores educational institutions were providing quality education and transformed several thousands of students by helping them secure IITs, NEET, EAMCET and more and settling them in several countries in the world.
Stating that he was not after money or power to enjoy, he clarified that he had not amassed any wealth by setting up Alphores institutions and the amount generated from the institutions was used only for the upgradation of the institutions to provide better facilities to the students and improve the quality of education. There are some people who have amassed huge wealth by setting up schools and possessing farm houses at the cost of the parents and students, he stated.
He stated that he had launched the campaign for the elections well in advance only to ensure that more graduates were enrolled as voters and added that he had set up a camp office in Kothapalli to help the graduates to enrol as voters and cast their vote. He promised private teachers to provide medical insurance coverage of up to Rs 2 lakhs by talking to the government.
Announcing that if elected as MLC he would be spending his salary and other privileges provided him to the poor students and poor teachers welfare, he also said that he would ensure that the government employees secure their DA before the Council elections. TPJA district leaders Prabhakar Goud, Masam Ratnakar Reddy, Rajeshwar, Ravinder Reddy, Satish Kumar and other schools and college correspondents and teachers were also present.
Earlier, he met the lawyers of Karimnagar district as Bar Association on the district court premises and appealed for their support in the council elections. He promised to solve all their pending issues and ensure that each lawyer after enrolment secures a monthly stipend of Rs 15,000 by exerting pressure on the government. Bar Association General Secretary Bethi Mahender Reddy, secretary Bhema Saheb and others were also present.
