
SIDDIPET, MAY 18, 2026: Faculty members of Kaveri University actively participated in an insightful workshop on “Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Facilitation and Services”, aimed at enhancing awareness and understanding of intellectual property protection, patent filing processes, and related legal services.
The workshop was delivered by Mr. Subhajit Saha, Head – Legal and IPR, Resolute Group, and Founder, who shared his extensive expertise on the importance of safeguarding innovations and research outcomes through effective intellectual property management.
During the session, Mr. Saha elaborated on key aspects of intellectual property rights, including patents, copyrights, trademarks, and design registrations. He also highlighted the various facilitation services available to support researchers, academicians, and innovators in transforming their ideas into protected intellectual assets.
The workshop provided valuable insights for the faculty members, encouraging them to strengthen their research contributions and pursue innovation with greater legal and strategic awareness. The interactive session also addressed practical challenges in patent filing and the commercialisation of academic research.

Vice Chancellor of Kaveri University V.Praveen Rao appreciated the enthusiastic participation of the faculty members and emphasised the importance of intellectual property awareness in advancing research excellence and innovation-driven academic culture. He encouraged all faculty members to actively pursue patent filing and protect their scholarly contributions for the greater benefit of society and the institution.
The programme was attended by University Registrar B. Srinivasulu, Director Polsani Harsha Rao, Deans Pratap Kumar Reddy, Sunita Mehta, IQAC Head B. Kavitha Rani, senior professors, heads of departments, and faculty members.
