JAGTIAL, AUGUST 23, 2024: The NSS unit of Government Degree College for Women, Jagtial, along with the Eco Club, conducted special cleanliness drive by removing the weeds and shrubs and taking up a tree plantation drive on the college campus premises on Friday.
On this occasion, the NSS volunteers and others planted fruit-bearing and flower-bearing saplings on the premises. The volunteers also took the responsibility to look after the planted saplings by nurturing them regularly by watering and trimming them accordingly. The girl students actively removed the shrubs and weeds and won accolades from the teachers.
College Principal K Ramakrishna along with Eco club coordination and NSS programme officer D Sujatha, other NSS POs N Sangeetha Rani, G Srilatha, faculty members Chandraiaha, Vasavi, Neeraja, Madhavi, Ramchandram and others participated in the programme.
