JAGTIAL, AUGUST 14, 2024: In a humane gesture, the municipal council member of Jagtial Municipality distributed shoes and socks to 154 students of MPPS Tarakarama Nagar Telugu medium school in Jagtial town on Wednesday.
Following the request made by the school A Gangadhar, the 48th ward municipal councillor Devender Naik distributed shoes and socks worth Rs 45,000 to the students at his own cost. On this occasion, he appealed to the parents to send their wards to school regularly and help them do their homework and excel in their studies.
Headmaster A Gangadhar thanked the noble gesture of the councillor for distributing the shoes and socks to the students and making them proud on par with the private schools. Teachers Kumaraswamy, Ramakrishna, Srinivas, Lalitha Rani and others were also present.
