By 2047, Telugu people will emerge number one in the world
TIRUMALA, JUNE 13, 2024: Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh N Chandrababu Naidu offered prayers in the Hill Shrine of Sri Venkateswara Swamy along with his family on Thursday. In his maiden visit to Tirumala after being sworn in as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Mr Naidu paid obeisance in the sanctum sanctorum of Sri Venkateswara along with his wife Bhuvaneshwari, son and AP Minister Lokesh, daughter in law Brahmini and grandson Devansh.
Earlier he reached the temple through Vaikuntham Queue Complex and was welcomed by TTD JEOs Veerabrahmam, Goutami, CVSO Narasimha Kishore at Mahadwaram. Later the temple priests offered him the traditional Isthikapal Swagatam amidst vedic hymns and Mangala Vaidyams.
Among other officials who accompanied the CM were Principal Secretary Endowments Karikalavalavan, Tirupati Collector Praveen Kumar, SP Harshavardhan Raju and others. A galaxy of newly elected members of Parliament and Legislature were also present.
After offering prayers in the sanctum, the CM was presented with Sesha Vastram and later offered Vedasirvachanam in Ranganayakula Mandapam followed by presentation of TTD Calendar, Diary, Theertha Prasadams. CEO SVBC Shanmukh Kumar, CE Nageswara Rao, SE 2 Jagadeeshwar Reddy, CPRO Dr T Ravi, Temple DyEO Lokanatham, Reception DyEOs Harindranath, Sri Bhaskar and others were also present.
Later the CM also offered prayers in Bedi Anjaneya Swamy temple, offered coconut at Akhilandam and took the blessings of Tirumala Pedda Jeeyangar Swamy along with his family.
Naidu said he prayed Lord Venkateshwara to give strength to establish ‘A zero poverty state’
Asserting that India would emerge Numero Uno in the world by 2047 with the Telugu people occupying a pride place in this achievement, the Honourable CM of AP Sri Nara Chandra Babu Naidu said, he prayed Sri Venkateswara Swamy to give him enough strength to build a “Zero Poverty State” soon by reducing economic imbalances and establishing a developed state.
During a press conference arranged at Sri Gayatri Nilayam Rest House in Tirumala, the CM told media persons that being the native of the place, his day commences offering prayers to Lord Venkateswara. Recalling his childhood memories he said, he used to walk all the way from Srinivasa Mangapuram to Tirupati during his school and college days. “Sri Venkateswara Swamy also happens to be our Kuladaivam and all these years I overcame all the struggles and challenges that I faced in my life including the claymore mine attack, political assaults etc. with the strength and courage provided to me with the benign blessings of Sri Venkateswara Swamy and the unflinching support extended by my family members during the high time which I faced in the last five years”, he affirmed.
He said, the development of the state has seen a decline in the last five years and there is every need to revamp the structure for which he sought the blessings of Sri Venkateswara. “I want to commence my activity starting with Tirumala by protecting its sanctity. Aiming at making Tirumala, a must-visit place of pilgrimage for every Hindu devotee during his lifetime. Tirumala should echo with the divine chants of Govinda Namas alone. I prayed to Lord Venkateswara to bless with enough strength to achieve all these goals”, he reiterated.
