NEW DELHI, JUNE 13, 2024: Bandi Sanjay Kumar has assumed charge as the Union Minister of State for Home Affairs at North Block in New Delhi on Thursday.
Amid chanting of vedic hymns by Jagadguru Shankaracharya Hampi Veerupaksha Vidyaranya peetadhipathi Sri Vidyaranya Bharathi Swamy Mr Sanjay took charge as the Minister by signing the files. His cabinet colleague Minister of State for Home Affairs Nityananda Roy congratulated Bandi Sanjay Kumar.
Following security reasons, the party rank and file and his well-wishers were not allowed in large numbers. However, at his official residence, the people have arrived in hordes and congratulated the Minister and distributed sweets and presented him with bouquets and shawls.
