KARIMNAGAR, JUNE 07, 2024: The Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS), Dehradun, a unit of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), has invited Shareef Ahmed, a Hindi teacher at ZPHS Ramancha in Chigurumamidi Mandal, Karimnagar district, to participate in the “Space Technology and Applications—For School Teachers” online training programme from June 10 to 14, 2024. This programme aims to spread awareness and build capacity among school teachers about the use of space technology and its applications.
The programme is an introductory-level online training course designed to provide teachers with knowledge about space science and its various applications. The main goal of the programme is to sensitize teachers to the use and significance of space technology so that they can educate their students on the subject.
Shareef Ahmed, a dedicated Hindi teacher at ZPHS Ramancha, has been invited to participate in this programme. His selection has brought great joy to the school and the district. Expressing his happiness Mr. Shareef Ahmed said: “Space technology plays a crucial role in every aspect of our lives. Such training programmes equip teachers with up-to-date information in this field, enabling them to prepare their students for future challenges.”
