Closes Venkata Shiva Milk Point for operating without an FSSAI licence in Hayathnagar
HYDERABAD, SEPTEMBER 22, 2026: The Telangana Standards Authority of Food and Essential Drugs (TG SAFE) Food wing has suspended the FSSAI licences of Sapthagiri Foods in Karmanghat, Hyderabad, and All Rich Dairy Private Limited, Pasumamula village, Abdullapurmet in Ranga Reddy district, Hyderabad, over unhygienic conditions, heavy presence of houseflies and cockroach infestation and more on Tuesday.
Venkata Shiva Milk Point at Hayathnagar was closed for operating without FSSAI license under unhygienic conditions.
Following the directions of TG SAFE Commissioner Avinash Mohanty, the Enforcement Wing of TG SAFE Food Safety Officers and Police personnel conducted a special drive on Dairy units in Core Urban Region and adjoining districts and inspected 20 establishments on Tuesday.
During the course of the inspection, the officials noticed the following violations in some of the establishments, such as Heavy presence of houseflies, Lack of Water reports, Pest Control and health records of food handlers, Presence of mould growth at several places found to be damp, Patchy flooring with water stagnation, Equipment and pipes found to be rusty and Improper maintenance of drainage systems.
In view of the violations, the following actions are being taken:
- (18) samples have been lifted on suspicion of adulteration
- Improvement notices will be issued to (10) establishments which are Federated White Nectar Private Limited at Injapur Village, Abdullapurmet, Shanthi farm and agri products located at Palmakole village, Rangareddy district, Dairy Spot at Bairamalguda, Sri Laxmi Narsimha Milk Traders at Karmanghat, Hatsun Dairy at Srisailam Road, Kadthal, Arvais Nature Products Pvt Ltd at Batasingaram, M/s Nature farm at gudur village, Rangareddy, M/s VK Dairy essential pvt ltd, at muchintal village, M/s. Sri Geetha Milk Traders & Processing Unit at Nadergul and M/s. Sids Farm Pvt Ltd at Shabad for rectification of the lapses identified during the inspection. The establishments will be revisited to verify the status of compliance with the food safety norms and further action will be taken based on reinspection.
- Show Cause Notices will be issued to M/s. Saritha Dairy, Jillelaguda, M/s. Sri Sai Dairy Products, Almasguda, Balapur and M/s. Milky Plus Foods Pvt Ltd(Gayathri Dairy), Nandigama Village, Ranga Reddy, for the violations reported during the inspections and further action will be initiated to impose penalties.
