MANCHERIAL, AUGUST 11, 2026: The Ramagundam Commissionerate of Police conducted a road safety awareness session in collaboration with the Mancherial Traffic Police at Alphores Junior College in Mancherial town to educate students about responsible behaviour on the road and promote a culture of safety on Tuesday.
During the interactive session, Traffic Inspector Hasnan highlighted key aspects of traffic rules, safe driving practices, the importance of helmets and seat belts, and the dangers associated with over-speeding and distracted driving. Students were sensitised to the importance of wearing helmets and seat belts, following traffic signals, and adhering to speed limits to ensure personal and public safety.
Demonstrations and real-life examples were used to help students better understand the consequences of unsafe road behaviour. The session aimed to empower young citizens to become responsible road users and ambassadors of road safety within their communities. Students actively participated, asked questions and pledged to follow traffic rules diligently.
