PEDDAPALLI, JULY 26, 2026: Gaddam Jagadeshwar, School Assistant (English) at PM SHRI Zilla Parishad High School, Ramagundam, District Resource Person (DRP) for English, and President of ELTA Peddapalli, has been selected to participate in the prestigious National Capacity Building Programme for English Language Teachers, to be conducted at the Regional Institute of Education (RIE), Mysuru, Karnataka, from 27th to 31st July 2026.
The five-day programme is being organised as part of the implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 to strengthen teachers’ professional competencies and promote innovative pedagogical practices for achieving quality learning outcomes in English language education. Mr. Jagadeshwar is one of the eight English teachers selected from Telangana State, making his selection a matter of pride for the education fraternity of Peddapalli district.
The training programme will focus on contemporary approaches to English language teaching, including literacy and language development, outcome-based teaching, learner-centred pedagogy, innovative classroom strategies, technology integration, and the development of students’ holistic competencies. Mr. Jagadeshwar expressed confidence that the knowledge and skills acquired during the programme would significantly contribute to enhancing the quality of English language teaching across the State.
He further stated that, upon completion of the programme, he would submit a project report on the training through the District Educational Officer to the Director of SCERT, Telangana, as per the prescribed guidelines. He also affirmed his commitment to disseminating the knowledge, innovative teaching practices, and professional skills gained during the programme among English teachers across the State in accordance with SCERT directives, thereby serving as a resource person and mentor.
Mr. Jagadeshwar expressed his sincere gratitude to Mr. Gajarla Ramesh, Director, SCERT Telangana, and Mr. R. Manga Reddy, In-charge, English Training Wing, SCERT Telangana, for providing him with the opportunity to participate in this prestigious national-level programme.
