HYDERABAD, JUNE 23, 2026: The Educational Multimedia Research Centre (EMRC) at the English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU) today formally released posters for ten Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) to be offered during the July–December 2026 semester.
The posters were unveiled by Prof. (Dr.) Parikshat Singh Manhas, Director, Consortium for Educational Communication (CEC), New Delhi, at a function chaired by Prof. N. Nagaraju, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of EFLU. The event was attended by Prof. T. T. Sreekumar, Director i/c, EMRC-EFLU, Ms. Sini Manchala, Registrar, EFLU, Dr. K. Rajaram, OSD to VC and Ms. Mehak Arora, Research Unit, CEC.
The MOOCs, hosted on the SWAYAM platform, reflect EMRC-EFLU’s commitment to expanding access to quality higher education through digital learning. The courses include: Apparel Designing, Diet Management in Health and Disease, Health Psychology, Human Development and Behaviour, Indian Judicial System: Legal Aid and Environmental Protection, Introduction to Indian Literature in English: Colonialism to Postcolonialism, Pedagogy of Teaching English, Proficiency Course in French, Proficiency Course in Russian, and Proficiency Course in Spanish.
The courses have been coordinated respectively by Dr. A. Sarada Devi, Dr. Vipparti Vijaya Lakshmi, Dr. Anne Samyukta, Dr. P. Swathi, Prof. (Dr.) G. B. Reddy, Dr. Jai Singh, Dr. Swathi Mulinti, Dr. Kanchan Chakravarty, Dr. Pusp Ranjan, and Dr. T. Srivani.
The MOOCs will be available through the SWAYAM platform during the July–December 2026 semester, providing learners across the country with opportunities for academic enrichment, skill development, and flexible access to quality educational resources.
