Officials also raided an unlicensed medical shop in Nalgonda district
HYDERABAD, JUNE 18, 2026: Officials of the Drugs Control Administration busted an illegal stocking and sale of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) in Goudavell, Medchal-Malkajgiri District, and seized stocks worth Rs. 34 lakh.
According to an official release here on Thursday, the DCA stated that based on credible intelligence regarding the unauthorised stocking and sale of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs), officers conducted a raid on the premises of Cocreate Global Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (Scimplify), located at Goudavelle Village, Medchal-Malkajgiri District, and detected illegal stocking for sale of APIs without a valid drug licence on Wednesday.
During the raid, DCA officials found and seized thirty-two (32) HDPE drums containing bulk drugs/APIs being stocked for sale without a valid licence, in contravention of the provisions of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940. The seized stock comprised thirteen (13) HDPE drums of Itraconazole IP labelled as manufactured by Spansules Pharma Tech Pvt. Ltd., Achutapuram, Anakapalli District, Andhra Pradesh, and nineteen (19) HDPE drums of Clopidogrel Bisulphate IP labelled as manufactured by Aptra Synthesis Pvt. Ltd., Thumakunta Village, Indupur Mandal, Sri Sathya Sai District, Andhra Pradesh.
The stocks were seized from the possession of Vadlamudi Mohan Vamsi Krishna, General Manager, Cocreate Global Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (Scimplify). The total worth of the API stocks seized is Rs. 34 lakhs. B. Lakshmi Narayana, Assistant Director, Medchal, B. Mounika, Drugs Inspector, Medchal, M. Hemalatha, Drugs Inspector, Gandimaisamma, and R. Geethanjali, Drugs Inspector, Prashanthi Nagar carried out the raid under the supervision of G. Srinivas, Deputy Director-I, DCA.

Unlicenced Medical shop raided in Nalgonda district
In a separate event, the Drugs Control Administration officials raided a medical shop at Bheemaram Village, Kethepally Mandal, Nalgonda District, which was operating illegally without a drug licence and seized drugs worth Rs. 55,000 stocked for sale at the unlicensed premises.
Officials acting on credible information regarding the illegal sale of medicines raided a medical shop located at Bheemaram Village, Kethepally Mandal, Nalgonda District, on Wednesday. K. Narsaiah was running a medical shop at the said premises illegally, without a drug licence.
During the raid, DCA officers detected the unauthorised stocking of a large quantity of medicines for sale. A total of 31 varieties of medicines, including antibiotics, antiulcer drugs, analgesics, and other drugs, were found stocked for sale at the premises. The stock, worth Rs. 55,000/-, was seized by the officers during the raid. Ch. Sampath Kumar, Drugs Inspector, Nalgonda and G. Surender, Drugs Inspector, Suryapet, conducted the raid under the supervision of Sri V. Ravi Kumar, Assistant Director, Nalgonda.
