
HANAMKONDA, JUNE 02, 2026: As part of the Praja Palana Pragati Pranalika (People’s Governance Progress Plan), the Higher Education Department has instructed government degree colleges to formulate plans for free PG training and conduct classes college-wise.
Free online coaching for the http://M.Com entrance in the Common Post Graduate Entrance Exam has been started. Organisers stated that this free training is being conducted jointly under the aegis of SRR Arts and Science Government Degree College (Autonomous), Karimnagar, and Kakatiya Government College (Autonomous), Hanamakonda, in collaboration with the Telangana Commerce Association.
This free training program will continue for approximately 45 days. Prof. Ramakrishna, Principal of SRR Arts and Science Government College, and Prof. G. Srinivas, Principal of Kakatiya Government College (Autonomous), Hanumakonda, are overseeing it. T. Rajaiah and Prof. D. Rajasekhar, Department In-charges of the two colleges, are serving as coordinators.
Burla Naresh, Assistant Professor of Commerce, SRR Arts and Science College (Autonomous), Karimnagar, is acting as the Programme Convener. Kampalli Arjun, Assistant Professor of Commerce, SRR Arts and Science College, Karimnagar, and Gangishetti Srinivas, Assistant Professor of Commerce, Kakatiya Government College (Autonomous), Hanumakonda, are serving as Co-conveners.
In this context, the inaugural meeting of the state-level online free coaching was held today on Telangana State Formation Day. Senior Prof. D. Chennappa, President of the Telangana Commerce Association, attended as the Chief Guest.
Speaking on the occasion, Program Convener Burla Naresh said that this program has been running for the past three years. He mentioned that many students had previously joined http://M.Com courses in various universities across the state and secured good ranks. He added that Commerce faculty working in Government Degree Colleges are acting as resource persons in the program.
Senior Prof. D. Chennappa stated that this is a good academic program that benefits many poor students and expressed hope that students would secure good ranks this year too. Co-convener Kampalli Arjun explained the ranks previously secured by students.
Speaking at the event, coordinators T. Rajaiah and Prof. Rajasekhar urged students to utilise this opportunity. Resource persons who participated in the programme — Mallareddy, S. Satish, Nagalakshmi, and Sumalatha — conveyed their appreciation. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Co-convener Gangishetti Srinivas.
