KARIMNAGAR, APRIL 18, 2026: As part of the Government of Telangana’s flagship initiative Prajapalana – Pragathi Pranalika (99-Day Action Plan), a comprehensive Academic Audit was successfully conducted on 16th April 2026 at the Mandal level. The programme was organised in accordance with the directives of the Education Department to strengthen academic standards, ensure quality education, and promote institutional accountability.
The Academic Audit aimed at evaluating key aspects of the teaching-learning process, including curriculum implementation, classroom practices, student assessment, faculty performance, and the effective use of digital and ICT-enabled tools in education. The initiative also focused on reviewing student support systems, co-curricular activities, and overall institutional performance.
The programme witnessed active participation from educational administrators, principals, faculty members, and Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) coordinators. During the audit, detailed verification of academic records such as lesson plans, teaching diaries, attendance registers, and internal assessment documents was carried out. Special emphasis was given to outcome-based education, innovative teaching methodologies, and continuous evaluation practices.

Officials highlighted that the Academic Audit is a crucial step towards achieving excellence in education and aligns with the broader objectives of the 99-Day Action Plan, which prioritises institutional strengthening, infrastructure development, and enhancement of learning outcomes. The audit also serves as a platform for identifying best practices as well as areas needing improvement.
Preliminary observations indicate encouraging progress in the adoption of modern teaching practices and increased use of digital tools in classrooms. At the same time, institutions have been advised to further strengthen research activities, improve documentation processes, and enhance industry-academia collaboration.
The Mandal-level programme reinforced the importance of continuous monitoring and quality assurance in educational institutions. Authorities reiterated their commitment to implementing the recommendations of the audit and ensuring sustained improvement in academic performance.
This initiative marks a significant step in advancing the state’s vision of delivering quality, inclusive, and outcome-oriented education across all levels. Prof. K.
